Susan Elois (Hayden) Sweet

August 31, 1946 — November 5, 2018

Indianapolis, Indiana

Susan E. Sweet is survived by her immediate family: Donald (husband), John (son), (daughter in love) Leslie, and loving mother Patricia Kegg. Her extended family includes her brothers: C. David Hayden, John K. Hayden, and sisters: Diane Shaver, and Pam Della Rocco.

A blessing to all who knew her, she spent her life teaching others the Grace of GOD and sharing the story of her personal healing miracle. While battling cancer for over 23 years she maintained an upbeat attitude and continually praised GOD by sharing her story of cancer survival to anyone she met.

Over 23 years (TWENTY-THREE!) ago she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has survived despite insurmountable odds. That cancer came back in one of her lungs and she battled it like a warrior. Then years later she again was afflicted by cancer of the liver. She remained strong of mind and spirit and shared her testimony with everyone she met.

The lives she touched will forever be changed by her spirit and determination to persevere despite knowing that it was against the odds.

Mom, thank you for teaching me how to LOVE. You will be missed. While my heart is heavy, my mind and spirit are at ease knowing that you have gone home and that I will see you again. I know that you are rejoicing in the glory of GOD and safe in the arms of Yeshua.

It will be a blink of an eye, we shall all be together on that other shore where there is no pain or suffering and we will abide with the other sons and daughters of GOD.

We will see you there.
